Marvin Berg, RN Receives Award for Nurse of Excellence from Nassau Co. EMS

Marvin Berg, RN a nurse in the emergency room of New Island Hospital received Honorable Mention from the Nassau County EMS Council as a, "Registered Professional Nurse of Excellence"  in recognition of his outstanding dedication and service to the residents of our region and for maintaining the provision of the highest level of emergency care possible.

Mr. Berg was also named Nurse of Excellence at New Island Hospital in 2006 and has worked at the hospital since 2000. He also volunteers at the Wantagh Fire Department. The Nassau County EMS Council is comprised of police and firefighters throughout Nassau County.
